Coral is developed deep in the ocean and originates from living organisms, called coral polyps. They come in many colours; reds, pinks and oranges which are the most popular and sought after. 

Corals can be found in several world seas, depending on the quality of the water within and around them. These have different grades, It is important to be aware, like gemstones, the corals have commercially been categorised, simply for marketing purposes.
